Job Position Open: Patrol Driver

Due to retirement LLVCC is looking for a replacement driver for the Patrol.  The following are the current responsibilities when working: 

  • Part time, 9 hrs/week, Wed. Evening, Thursday and Friday. 
  • On-call from 6:30 AM to 11PM  
  • 3 tours daily (AM, midday, PM) of the 13+ miles of roadway in LLVCC (Vehicle provided) 
  • Walkarounds for out-of-town residents by request 
  • Respond to residents’ calls 
  • Wellness checks 
  • Watch for covenant violations and report to LLVCC lead  
  • Monitor common areas for non-residents 
  • Assist “Beach Attendants” with issues at the gazebo area 
  • Move speed sign weekly 
  • Monitor and log trailers, boats, RV’s and construction equipment 3 times daily  
  • Monitor open garage doors (PM) and notify resident 
  • Deliver in-person notification in the form of a “red tag” for vehicles parked in excess of approved time limit and explain reason to resident if necessary. 
  • Pick up debris on roadway or notify Mason County of fallen trees. 
  • Open and close public restrooms (AM and PM) 
  • Monitor vehicles parked in roadway and tag if necessary 
  • Hang ACC permits 
  • Hang gazebo reservation signs 
  • Post extended parking permits 
  • Monitor street light outages and report to office 
  • Notify lead of “eye sore” properties 
  • Watch for vandalism and report to lead 
  • Fill out “Patrol Incident Report” as needed 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Resident of LLVCC 
  • Valid WA State D/L 
  • 21 years of age 
  • Available year round (no snowbirds) 
  • Able to traverse uneven, hilly, or rocky terrain 
  • Able to lift 40 pounds 
  • Ability to learn, understand and communicate LLVCC bylaws, covenants, and resolutions to LLVCC residents 
  • Be an effective communicator able to maintain a positive rapport with residents, LLV Board, local law enforcement and the ability to communicate successfully with all age groups.

What your HOA dues fund:

 ($265 for Fiscal Year 4-1-2024 through 3-31-2025)

  • Street lighting
  • LakeLand  Compliance Specialist Team is on call Monday thru Friday
  • LakeLand Patrol Team is on call Monday thru Friday; increased patrol when needed
  • Continual monitoring and treatment of Anderson Lake to maintain its integrity
  • Dam inspections and maintenance
  • Annual fish plant
  • Staffing of the HOA office 5 days a week (MTThF 8 am to 1 pm; Wed 12 pm to 5 pm)
  • Maintenance and improvements to the beach, picnic area and the playground
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the beach restrooms
  • Maintenance and improvements to boat launch
  • Maintenance and Lease of Tennis/Pickle Ball Courts
  • Ground Authorities Team during the swimming season
  • Lighting of common areas
  • Fishing Derby
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Garage Sale Promotion
